To many observers, the resolution of environmental issues with the libertarian principles of private property, personal liberty, and limited government appears a hopeless goal. If we are overheating the planet with CO2 emissions, destroying the ozone layer, overpopulating the earth, and destroying species, how can such a limited perspective cope with these problems?
